Heirloom French Thyme Seeds

(more) »rank: 129555

from: Renee's Garden

Our review: :This delightful frost hardy herb is easy to grow from seed but do not cover the seeds as they need light to germinate. French Thyme forms soft 8-12' mounds of cascading grey-green leaves and has small lilac flowers. Intensely aromatic, it is a staple in Mediterranean cuisine.

Hot and Spicy Chili Seeds Variety Pack

(more) »rank: 117265

from: Desert Gatherings

Our review: :Chilies were one of the earliest plants to be cultivated in the New World. There is evidence that suggests that chili peppers were used as food and medicine over 8,000 years ago. Plant your own chilies and use them to add flavor to your favorite dishes. The package come with 4 individual seed packs: Giant Saguaro Cactus, Chili Pepper Varieties, Cactus Garden Variety, and Desert Wildflowers. Each package has its own instruction and information.

Iceberg Lettuce Seeds

(more) »rank: 137577

from: Cornacopia

Our review: :remember when a salad consisted of a wedge of iceberg lettuce, some tomatoes and Krafts French Dressing. At the time I think arugula was only served in Europe. Perhaps iceberg lettuce can be compared to Classic Coke, so revisit a simpler time. I promise fresh from the garden lettuce will be alot crisper than the ones our mothers purchased from the grocery. Enough seeds to plant an 80 foot row.

Spanish Lavender Seeds

(more) »rank: 130930

from: Renee's Garden

Our review: :This Lavender is always a show stopper with flowers like purple butterflies. It is hardy to 10 degrees and more tolerant of humidity than the English varieties. Not a true Lavender scent however, more piney. It is not at all hard to grow from seed if you provide a bit of warmth from your dryer. Grows 1 1/2-2' tall.

Detail

Catmint Seeds

(more) »rank: 123820

from: Renee's Garden

Our review: :This plant is very similiar to Catnip but much prettier, growing into an 18' mound. Some cats still like it, but not with the same intensity as Catnip. Grey, felt-like foliage compliments the blue flowers.
